These kind musicians heard about Kazoomzoom.com, the world's first netlabel devoted to children, and they could not wait to make silly songs! They made this compilation come together in only a couple of weeks just for listeners like you.
On July 1st, the netlabel for children launched with its first release, SILLY SONGS. The release established the newly launched website with no fanfare as all the site is being built up around it at Kazoomzoom.com. Several other releases are waiting in the wings, and all readers are invited to participate in the project.
The 14 silly songs are performed by The Bran Flakes, Brody and the Booger Brigade, Dave Girtsman, The Kazoo Funk Orchestra, Lee and Sheep, Pastor McPurvis, Rufus Hofbagger, The Tryg Identity, Uncle Neptune and El Zoológico.
SILLY SONGS is the first collaboration issued on Kazoomzoom.com. Selections 05, 07, 09, 10, 12 and 13 debut in this collection. Songs 08 and 14 are soon to be released commercially. This release was put together over the course of about two weeks in an excited effort to launch the netlabel. The children's netlabel project was initiated only two months prior.
